Description

You will support ToroAire’s HVAC and commercial kitchen business by managing customer relationships, developing project opportunities, and driving equipment sales focused on air distribution products. You will partner closely with outside sales, engineering, and operations teams to quote projects, process orders, and support customers from early design through fulfillment.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) preferred, but equivalent job experience considered
• Extremely detailed oriented
• Customer service driven
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong computer skills
• Work well in a team setting
• Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Outside Sales Engineers to facilitate sales
• Support fellow Inside Sales Engineers as back-up when necessary
• Advise customers on proper application and selection of equipment sold
• Prepare quotes for equipment based on customer input
• Enter orders for equipment sold by Outside Sales Engineers
• Detailed tracking of the order process
• Manage virtual files for all projects involving assigned salespeople
• Use manufacturer selection programs to select and configure equipment for design and quoting to contractors
• Assist customers with technical support on product lines and maintain good working relationships through verbal and written correspondence
• Prepare submittals for equipment sold
