Description

You will architect and build large-scale, cloud-native payment systems at Coupang, writing production-grade code and leading cross-functional teams to deliver fast, reliable fintech solutions for millions of users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 12-15+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in full-stack development (Java, Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Hands-on architecture experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and APIs
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and system design

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement complex distributed cloud-native systems
• Write and review production-grade code; optimize for performance and reliability
• Deliver mission-critical features rapidly while maintaining high availability
• Own large-scale payment microservices, event-driven pipelines, and real-time APIs
• Drive adoption of AI/ML technologies in payment workflows
