Description

You will design and execute pricing surveys, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and collaborate with product and leadership teams to drive pricing strategy at a fast-growing cloud data platform company. Your insights will directly shape how we package and monetize our open-source technologies for developers.

Requirements

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills including statistical analysis and data visualization tools
  • Strong business acumen with ability to link research to strategic outcomes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in survey design software and statistical packages (e.g., Qualtrics, R, Python)
  • Relevant university degree in Economics, Statistics, Business, or related quantitative field
  • Minimum 4 years experience in market research, pricing strategy, or business intelligence in technology sector
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and running pricing and customer satisfaction surveys

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage detailed product pricing studies and customer surveys
  • Extract value drivers and identify what targeted users truly care about
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends related to pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies
  • Synthesize research findings into data-backed recommendations for Product and Leadership teams
  • Act as primary subject matter expert on customer and developer willingness-to-pay dynamics
  • Partner with Product Managers to test new pricing models and tiers
  • Conduct competitive pricing analysis and monitor market trends
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
