You'll design and develop a service-oriented web application that exposes our advanced ML models to scientists. This role has direct impact on protein design tools for biotech, food-tech, and academia. You'll collaborate across disciplines with biologists and ML experts.

• Architect manipulation and storage of biological sequence data
• Design APIs for interaction with ML models with versioning
• Provide technical leadership in software engineering
• Collaborate with biologists and ML experts

📋 Requirements

• Extensive industry experience in backend systems in a modern cloud environment
• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (FastAPI, uv, ruff, pyright)
• Experience with databases and big data systems
• Experience building containerized backend systems (Docker, Kubernetes)

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience with production ML systems
• Knowledge of distributed cloud systems
