Description

As a Staff Engineer on the Platform team, you will lead technical design and architecture for foundational systems such as Alerts, Workflows, and User Management. You'll drive technology choices, solve complex problems, and enable products to reach market quickly while operating at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in software design and development
• 2+ years in an architect or leadership role
• Stellar programming/coding fundamentals
• 4+ years of experience building large scale distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Drive technology choices and establish architectural patterns for Samsara's platform
• Architect, design, and develop software to operate at scale
• Lead teams in delivering products and capabilities that contribute to revenue
• Solve hardest technical problems to enable quick, high-quality product delivery
• Act as a multiplier for the team, elevating every team member's impact
