Description

You will lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process for large capital projects at SpaceX, working across multiple disciplines to design and activate infrastructure that supports the company's long-term mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience with MEP building systems design or build
• Experience with electrical and power distribution systems (600Vac) preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and critical power infrastructure preferred
• Ability to work onsite and travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and contractors through MEP engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through close-out
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time
• Coordinate with electrical utility provider for design/engineering of reliable power service
