Description
You will lead the development and execution of Scout Motors' Tax and Customs strategy, ensuring compliance, optimizing tax structures, and managing trade-related activities in a capital-intensive, globally integrated environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax, or related field (advanced degree or CPA is a plus)
- 15+ years of proven leadership experience in Tax and Customs, preferably in automotive or manufacturing
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and international tax and customs regulations
- Experience building scalable tax frameworks in a high-growth environment
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tax and customs strategies to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance
- Oversee preparation, review, and submission of tax returns and customs declarations
- Build and lead a high-performing tax and customs team
- Manage transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance with global tax laws
- Lead customs operations including import/export compliance and tariff impact analysis
