Description

You will investigate, recreate, and troubleshoot software issues reported by customers and demo labs, working with embedded software for semiconductor equipment. Your work ensures reliable operation of advanced hardware like robotics and gas controllers.

Requirements

• BS + 8 years or MS + 4 years in CS, CE, or related field
• Ability to read code and diagnose issues
• Software development or test (QA) experience

Responsibilities

• Investigate and replicate software issues to determine root cause and corrective actions
• Troubleshoot embedded software bugs, including mechanical, electrical, and software triage
• Manage escalation calls with field support engineers
• Create detailed bug reports for developers
• Travel to customer sites (10-25%) for installation, training, and troubleshooting
