💼 About This Role

You'll work with at-risk youth in LA County probation facilities, using your lived experience and credibility to guide them towards positive change. You'll implement restorative justice approaches and support youth in modifying behaviors through individual and group settings. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Engage youth participants through effective communication and conflict mediation.
• Work with youth individually and in groups to modify behaviors.
• Use lived experience to guide and motivate at-risk youth.
• Collaborate with DYD/Probation staff to create a therapeutic environment.

📋 Requirements

• Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity under pressure.
• Ability to develop a treatment alliance with participants.
• Excellent interpersonal, written communication and typing skills.
• Lived experience and significant personal growth since release from correctional system.
