Description

You will provide strategic and operational leadership, clinical oversight, and direct patient care across 11 clinical hubs in Western North Carolina. Your role involves managing medical directors, championing a value-based care model, and ensuring high-quality outcomes while delivering comprehensive primary care services to a dedicated patient panel.

Requirements

• Board-Certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• 8+ years of post-residency experience
• Active, non-probationary North Carolina state medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• Authorized to work in the US
• Divisional/Regional Medical Director experience
• Experience leading and overseeing dispersed clinical teams
• Clear understanding of care delivery systems and tech-enabled primary care
• Exposure to population health programs focused on value-based care
• Effective and motivating communication skills
• Experience with data reporting and performance management

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership to care teams
• Oversee clinical operations and financial performance across the region
• Champion the Hopscotch Care Model with providers and care teams
• Support development and implementation of policies and strategic initiatives
• Manage and develop Medical Directors and clinical teams
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new primary care providers
• Cultivate a positive region-wide culture aligned with Hopscotch's values
• Represent Hopscotch externally with regional partners and community organizations
• Provide high-quality direct patient care including office and telehealth visits
• Proactively communicate across the care team and advocate for patients
