Description

You will perform fire protection engineering services including life safety code consulting and design of sprinkler and fire alarm systems, working under experienced engineers. This early career role offers the opportunity to develop professionally and progress toward licensure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Engineering or related field
• 0-3 years of experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform life safety code consulting, sprinkler design, fire alarm design, and performance-based fire engineering
• Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports
• Assist in resolution of design problems through field investigations or detailed design work
• Identify applicable codes and standards for design inquiries
• Conduct building code analyses, egress analyses, and hydraulic calculations
