Description

You will join the Customer Observability Team to develop tools and platforms that help users understand the health and performance of their MongoDB deployments. This involves collecting metrics, monitoring slow queries, and providing actionable insights to improve database speed, efficiency, and reliability. You'll work on large-scale systems and telemetry data, contributing directly to customer success.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a backend or full stack engineer
• Backend systems experience in a compiled language (Java, C#, Go, etc.)
• Experience with design and architecture of modern, scalable web applications
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and their time and space complexity
• Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting production issues

Responsibilities

• Design, write and maintain Observability code and features
• Contribute to and lead complex technical projects
• Investigate large scale distributed production issues
• Collaborate with team members to develop codebase, best practices and design principles
• Mentor junior team members
