💼 About This Role

You'll establish and lead Zopa's Financial Intelligence Unit, building a centre of excellence for complex financial crime investigations. You'll protect customers while enabling sustainable growth across our entire product ecosystem. This role offers the chance to design and operationalise a new FIU from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and operationalise the Financial Intelligence Unit operating model
• Lead end-to-end complex financial crime investigations
• Develop intelligence reports and thematic briefings for senior stakeholders
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed risk-based controls

📋 Requirements

• Extensive experience in financial crime and fraud typologies
• Experience establishing or significantly enhancing a Financial Intelligence Unit
• Proven track record leading intelligence-led investigations
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks
