Description

You will lead the Quality Team to drive high product quality standards for our humanoid robot, Apollo, by documenting issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve them. As the product matures from prototype to mass production, you will oversee defining quality plans at contract manufacturers and auditing their adherence. This role involves international travel up to 20%.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 5+ years experience in Quality, Process, or similar engineering role
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes
• Expert in statistical analysis tools (GR&R, SPC, Cpk, 5WHY, Fishbone)
• Experience with data analysis, able to drive improvements and create dashboards/charts

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Quality team members (IQC, IPQC, QEs)
• Champion bug/issue resolution process; document bugs, align stakeholders, drive corrective action
• Consolidate issues into dashboards to drive team action and update leadership
• Develop product quality plans and assess contract manufacturer adherence
• Establish Outgoing Quality Control procedures and Customer Audit Processes
