💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team ensuring the health and stability of The Roku Channel and live content pipelines. You'll own incident management, launch execution, and drive automation to reduce operational toil. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Content, and Advertising at a leading streaming platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Operations Engineers across time zones
• Oversee 24/7 platform monitoring through the Technical Operations Control Center
• Own end-to-end incident management from triage through post-mortem
• Manage and enforce SLAs across priority tiers
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual monitoring and streamline escalation

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical or platform operations in streaming, media, or consumer technology
• 2+ years of leading technical teams, including geographically distributed or contractor-based teams
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog, PagerDuty, or equivalent
• Proven ability to lead high-pressure incident triage and cross-functional escalation

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep familiarity with ad delivery operations including SSAI and client-side ad insertion
• Experience managing CDN architecture and capacity planning for video streaming
• Track record of building automation to reduce manual operational overhead
