Description

As a Physical Therapist with Otterbein Home Health, you will provide rehabilitative care to elderly patients in their homes, focusing on ambulation, transferring, gait training, and exercise programs. You'll work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in a faith-based setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in physical therapy
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapist experience
• Current Ohio Physical Therapist license or application pending
• Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services per plan of care
• Assess muscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM, and transfer capabilities
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in use and care of therapeutic appliances
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) as necessary
• Participate in Quality Assessment/Performance Improvement program
