💼 About This Role

You'll join the Observability team to own and operate our Kubernetes infrastructure and scale telemetry systems like VictoriaMetrics and OpenTelemetry. You'll collaborate across teams to enforce org-wide observability best practices, ensuring high uptime for our logging, tracing, and metrics platforms. This role offers the chance to work on core infrastructure for a fast-growing open-source platform and make a global impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Enforce org-wide telemetry practices and contribute to documentation
• Own and operate Kubernetes infrastructure for the observability team
• Ensure high uptime across logging, tracing, and metrics systems
• Orchestrate and scale VictoriaMetrics, OpenTelemetry Collector, and Vector

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role
• Experience operating clustered applications in production environments
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL including administration and tuning

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services
• Proficiency with OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Prometheus
• Strong documentation and communication skills
