Description

You will provide patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety under the direction of a Charge Nurse. You'll document care, answer call lights, take vital signs, and ensure patient comfort through repositioning and equipment application. This role is based in a skilled nursing facility dedicated to improving lives.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of work
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Ability to lift heavy objects and transfer patients weighing 200+ lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety per Charge Nurse directions
• Document patient care in records; complete admission paperwork and orientation
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs
• Turn and reposition patients every 2 hours; reposition seated patients every hour
• Take vital signs and weights accurately; report to Charge Nurse
