💼 About This Role

You'll own Outset's security program end-to-end, from policy and compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001 to hands-on cloud and application security. You'll directly shape the security posture of an AI-powered research platform used by global brands.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain the company security policy framework and incident response procedures.
• Own customer security questionnaire process and inbound security assessments.
• Assess, triage, and fix security vulnerabilities across production software and infrastructure.
• Design and implement security controls across AWS, corporate systems, and endpoints.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in security engineering, DevSecOps, or information security.
• Experience authoring and maintaining security policies and playbooks.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and SaaS tooling stacks.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (Python, Go, or similar).

• Experience with SIEM, detection engineering, or log analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with securing AI/ML pipelines or data infrastructure.
