Description

You will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of automated business processes within the S/4HANA digital core, transitioning from legacy SAP Business Workflows to modern S/4HANA Flexible Workflow. This role ensures efficient, transparent, and compliant approval cycles for critical documents in federal settings, bridging functional requirements with technical execution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in SAP Workflow with S/4HANA Flexible Workflow and classic SAP Business Workflow
• Experience in BRFplus for creating decision tables and expressions
• Knowledge of Fiori and OData related to My Inbox integration and Push Notifications
• US Citizen (no dual citizenship)
• Eligibility to obtain a government Secret Clearance
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Architect and configure Flexible Workflow scenarios across assigned process areas
• Design multi-step approval patterns including parallel approvals and agent determination rules
• Configure Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus) for complex workflow routing logic
• Manage Agent Determination using Responsibilities, Role-based assignments, and custom BAdIs
• Optimize the My Inbox Fiori App for unified task management
• Extend standard workflow scenarios with custom Condition Expressions and Result Actions
• Maintain legacy SAP Business Workflows (WF-BATCH) for seamless co-existence
• Troubleshoot Workflow Errors using technical tools like SWI1 and SWIA
• Ensure Audit Traceability to meet GAO and IG audit requirements
• Lead Fit-to-Standard Workshops to minimize custom development
• Monitor Workflow Performance using the Workflow Dashboard
