Description

You will lead the development of a therapeutic candidate for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), overseeing cross-functional teams and managing clinical trials from discovery through lifecycle management at MapLight Therapeutics.

Requirements

MD or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of CNS research experience
Board Certified/Board Eligible in neurology, child neurology, developmental-behavioral pediatrics, or psychiatry (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of industry experience with clinical development strategies (preferred)
Experience in neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder (preferred)

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and management of a cross-functional development team for ASD candidate
Ensure study adherence to GCP and applicable regulatory standards
Lead evaluation of study data, including endpoint selection and clinical outcome assessments for autism populations
Partner with pharmacovigilance to review and communicate clinical safety data
Collaborate with clinical sites and CROs to support patient recruitment and retention in pediatric and neurodiverse populations
