Description

As a Critical Lift & Transport Engineer on the Starship program, you will ensure safe and efficient heavy-lift and transport operations for rocket stages and ground support equipment, using engineering analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Multi-disciplinary knowledge in structural, civil, and mechanical engineering
• Experience with critical lifts and heavy transport operations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and finite element analysis (FEA)
• Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA and ASME B30

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and execute critical lifts and heavy-haul transports for large-scale hardware
• Develop lift plans, rigging designs, and transport configurations using AutoCAD and FEA
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on mass properties and load paths
• Select and specify cranes, SPMTs, trailers, and rigging hardware; perform equipment inspections
