Description

As a Senior Network Engineer on the Starshield team, you will own the design, deployment, and operation of a secure service provider network supporting national security missions. You'll drive improvements in network performance, reliability, and security, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical/engineering discipline AND 5+ years networking experience, or 7+ years experience in lieu of degree
• Professional Layer-1 experience (transport, DWDM, optical fiber, circuit troubleshooting)
• Hands-on experience with datacenter hardware deployment
• Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and servers
• Must obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand network interconnections, colocation sites, and POPs
• Manage network infrastructure deployments to Top Secret datacenters
• Improve network performance and reliability including capacity planning and failure detection
• Assist in capacity augmentation and network optimization deployments
• Lead network integration and troubleshooting efforts
