💼 About This Role

You'll lead carbon project design and registration for agricultural soil carbon programs, ensuring methodological rigor across Perennial's operations. You'll shape voluntary carbon market leadership through registry engagement and industry forums.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end methodological integrity of soil carbon programs.
• Design and register projects under voluntary carbon standards (e.g., VCS, Climate Action Reserve).
• Interpret ALM methodologies (e.g., VM0042, VM0032) and translate into implementation strategies.
• Engage with validation and verification bodies throughout project lifecycle.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years in carbon project development or methodologies.
• Direct experience leading registration of agricultural soil carbon projects in voluntary carbon market.
• Expertise with VCS ALM methodologies (VM0042 and/or VM0032).
• Experience designing statistically robust soil carbon sampling plans.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with digital soil mapping and geostatistics.
• Experience with biogeochemical models (DayCent, DNDC, SALUS).
• Relationships with voluntary carbon market registries or validation bodies.
