You'll lead the Internal Platform team at Strava, setting strategy for developer and application platforms used by all engineers. Your work will directly enable faster, more reliable feature delivery for millions of athletes. This role partners with engineering leaders to drive developer productivity and influence platform thinking across the organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set strategy and roadmap for Internal Platform across Developer and Application Platform
• Lead, hire, and grow a team of platform engineers through specialization
• Partner with product engineering leaders to identify development lifecycle friction
• Drive measurable gains in developer productivity, reliability, and library quality

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years managing engineering teams including senior engineers
• Experience setting strategy for a platform or infrastructure organization
• Strong technical background in platform engineering or developer experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence outside direct area

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with developer tooling, CI/CD, or telemetry at scale
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization
• Fluency with developer productivity metrics
