💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting and financial reporting to prepare Deepgram for audit and IPO readiness. You'll own GAAP standards and quarterback the external audit while building scalable policies and workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical accounting across ASC 606, 718, 842, 805, and complex financing instruments
• Prepare GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures from scratch
• Quarterback external audit, build policy library, and serve as primary audit contact
• Manage external advisors and valuation specialists on 409As and PPAs

📋 Requirements

• CPA with Big 4 foundation
• 8+ years progressive technical accounting experience
• Hands-on range across revenue (606), equity comp (718), leases (842), and business combos (805)
• Builder instinct with comfort in ambiguity and AI-native workflow

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience preparing a company for its first external audit
• Capitalized software accounting in SaaS or AI business
• Working knowledge of Workiva, NetSuite, or FloQast
