Description

Join Rocket Lab as a Lead Engineer for Tooling, Test, and Infrastructure, where you will manage a team responsible for developing and implementing tooling, ground support equipment, and test systems for the Neutron launch vehicle at our new Space Structures Complex in Middle River, MD. You'll coordinate with structures teams, facilities, and operations to scale production, improve assembly accuracy, reduce set-up times, and ensure vehicle qualification and structural testing.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in engineering and team management
• Experience with production tooling and ground support equipment
• Background in test engineering and structural qualification
• Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and stakeholders
• Experience in aerospace or launch vehicle development preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers for tooling, GSE, and test for Neutron
• Coordinate production tooling to scale manufacturing and improve assembly accuracy
• Design ground support equipment for vehicle test, transport, and integration
• Coordinate qualification and structural tests
• Collaborate with structures, leads, facilities, and operations on program goals
