You'll manage environmental compliance and regulatory permitting at Fording River Operations. Your core impact is enhancing site environmental programs and air quality, waste, and contaminated sites management. This role offers a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage and support a team focused on compliance and field monitoring
• Provide technical direction for emerging environmental issues
• Develop annual budgets to support completion of objectives
• Prepare and submit data and reports to meet regulatory commitments

📋 Requirements

• Engineering or Science degree or diploma in environmental field
• Five to eight years providing technical direction in environmental risk management
• Technical knowledge of federal and provincial regulations for air quality, waste, spill response
• Project management experience with multiple environmental projects and budgets

• Professional designation meeting BC qualified professional requirements
• Technical understanding of soil or water chemistry and risk evaluations
