💼 About This Role

You'll design finite element models and perform structural analyses for space-based IoT systems at E-Space. You'll interpret simulation results to propose mechanical design updates and correlate analysis with test data. This role offers a chance to work on a highly-advanced LEO space system with a unique antenna design.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design finite element models with meshing strategies and boundary conditions.
• Perform static, modal, and dynamic FEM analyses on parts and assemblies.
• Interpret simulation results to identify design limitations and propose updates.
• Prepare and execute mechanical and environmental tests, correlating data with analysis.

📋 Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Materials.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in finite element analysis.
• Proficiency with at least one FEA software package (Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, etc.).
• Strong fundamentals in materials, structural dynamics, and vibrations.

• Thermal or thermo-mechanical analysis capabilities.
• Scripting and data analysis skills (e.g., Python).
