Description

You will lead a team of 6-8 engineers building user-facing experiences for identity verification, profile visibility, terms of service consent, and privacy controls on Airbnb. Your work directly impacts regulatory compliance, user safety, and the authenticity of every interaction on the platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience with 3+ years in engineering management (or equivalent leadership)
• Experience building and shipping trust, identity, privacy, or compliance-related product experiences
• Strong product intuition and ability to partner with PMs, designers, and legal/policy stakeholders
• Track record of managing cross-platform teams (backend + mobile + web)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with sensitive data handling, privacy-by-design principles, or identity verification systems is a strong plus
