You'll design and build Convex's global cloud infrastructure for a full-stack app platform. Your core impact will be improving performance and reliability while helping establish best practices as the team scales. You'll work on distributed systems with a high-ownership team that values simplicity.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain Convex's global cloud infrastructure.
• Investigate and improve system performance and reliability.
• Prioritize projects in collaboration with engineering team and CTO.
• Write systems and database code.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems at scale.
• Good understanding of systems design and operational practices.
• Interest to work in-person at Convex's SF office.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience scaling in a high-growth startup environment.
• Knowledge of Rust.
• Experience with OLTP databases over OLAP systems.
