You'll serve as a liaison between plan members, providers, and health insurance companies to resolve member claim inquiries. You'll handle all communication, paperwork, and negotiations to ensure a quality member experience. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact members' financial outcomes while working in a fully remote environment.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Provide timely customer service for health care claims inquiries
- Organize health insurance paperwork and medical documentation
- Communicate status updates to patients throughout the claims process
- Negotiate with providers on plan member balances and appeal denials
๐ Requirements
- 1 year experience in customer service roles
- 3 years of revenue cycle or carrier experience
- Prior work experience in a claims support and health insurance role
- Ability to take meticulous notes and document actions taken
โจ Nice to Have
- College degree preferred
- Medical billing/coding certification (CPC) beneficial
