Description

You will design, build, and scale an intelligent People Technology ecosystem at Interactive Brokers, architecting AI-powered workflows, building system integrations, and developing automation services. This role involves working across backend services, APIs, AI tools, and lightweight front-end interfaces to enable HR and business leaders to leverage real-time data.

Requirements

1–5 years of programming experience in systems engineering, platform engineering, or applied AI
Strong general-purpose programming fluency (language-agnostic mindset)
Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations
Experience deploying or integrating LLM-based tools
Ability to build or modify lightweight front-end interfaces when required

Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-driven HR workflows and decision-support tools
Integrate internal AI systems (e.g., LLM-based agents) with HR platforms
Build microservices and APIs to connect HR systems, data sources, and AI agents
Develop and optimize batch imports/exports and SFTP data flows
Ensure data quality, governance, and reconciliation across systems
