💼 About This Role

You'll join GoDaddy's Product Security group to design scalable solutions for complex security challenges. You'll perform security assessments, prioritize risks, and collaborate with engineering teams to reduce vulnerabilities. This remote role empowers you to drive resolution of security events and influence secure-by-default development strategies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify security threats and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
• Collaborate with SRE and development teams to reduce vulnerabilities at scale.
• Develop repeatable security processes and frameworks.
• Advocate for secure by build and secure by default strategies.

📋 Requirements

• 1+ years of security engineering experience.
• Expertise in multiple security domains (e.g., Cloud Security, Web Security).
• Experience in threat modeling and penetration testing.
• Solid knowledge of security controls across the OSI model.

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in Secure Development Lifecycle and Shift Left.
• Scripting/development skills (e.g., Python, C, Java, Ruby).
