💼 About This Role

You'll lead a production team building large composite assemblies for Rocket Lab's Neutron rocket. You'll drive daily progress, manage technicians, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. This role is key to developing a reusable launch vehicle at a fast-paced aerospace company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage a team of composite technicians to ensure accountability and clarity of responsibilities.
• Manage daily tactical and weekly strategic objectives for production work cells.
• Track team output against delivery objectives and manage capacity planning and schedules.
• Drive improvement projects to decrease touch-time, improve quality, or reduce safety risk.
• Accountable for team training and conformance to health and safety policies.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma and 5+ years experience as an operating technician in technical environments.
• 1+ year of team leadership experience in a production environment.
• Experience with operations management including daily scheduling and maintaining complex facility systems.
• Experience with apprentice-style training programs.

✨ Nice to Have

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• A&P License or Composites Technical Apprenticeship.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing techniques.
