Description

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Braze, you will partner with engineering teams to design secure cloud architectures, improve vulnerability management, and develop automation for cloud security. You'll work on securing AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines while contributing to incident response and threat modeling.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or DevSecOps in product-focused company
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS security (IAM, networking, logging, monitoring)
• Strong understanding of GCP security; Azure familiarity a plus
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (self-managed), CrowdStrike, Tenable, and CSPM tools
• Proven incident response experience in cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud architectures and develop security controls for AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Lead vulnerability management for cloud assets using Tenable and native CSP tools
• Manage security tooling including CrowdStrike and SIEM detection rules
• Perform threat modeling for new cloud technologies
• Develop automation using Python and SOAR platforms for detection and response
