💼 About This Role

You'll lead end-to-end M&A integration for Upwork's acquisition portfolio, partnering with senior leaders across product, engineering, GTM, and finance. You'll drive integration strategy from pre-sign diligence through post-close execution, ensuring acquired teams and technologies achieve long-term success in a remote-first environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define integration strategy, workstreams, and timelines across all M&A phases.
• Lead cross-functional implementation from Day 1 readiness through product and technology integration.
• Establish and track integration KPIs, value realization metrics, and post-deal scorecards.
• Support acquired team onboarding, structure, cultural alignment, and talent retention.

📋 Requirements

• 10–15+ years of M&A integration experience
• 5+ years directly leading end-to-end M&A integrations
• Track record integrating teams, technology, and operational processes in technology or marketplace/SaaS environments
