Description

You will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in school settings to help students with Autism and other developmental disabilities reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence. Work directly with students in the classroom, collaborate with school teams, and document progress toward goals.

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to pursue (paid by BAYADA)
• At least 18 years of age
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100, or passage of ParaPro Praxis
• Experience with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students in the classroom following the established service plan
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams
• Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers
• Document interventions and progress towards goals
• Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan
