Your role involves platform bring-up, debugging, issue prioritization, and facilitating communication between engineering teams. This work improves Ubuntu for millions of users globally.

Requirements

• Linux kernel, boot and system-level architecture skills
• Linux debugging and resolution abilities
• English written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional academic track record
• Undergraduate degree in a technical subject

Responsibilities

• Work closely with partners on platform bring up
• Debug and prioritize issues, escalate to engineering teams
• Facilitate communication between Ubuntu, firmware, and hardware engineering teams
• Build and maintain working relationships with partners
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide fast response times
