Description

You will implement the on-site safety program to ensure an injury-free work environment, enforcing federal, state, and company safety regulations. You'll conduct daily inspections, safety orientations, and oversee subcontractor safety compliance on a confidential project in Melbourne, Florida.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum 5 years as on-site SSHO
• Knowledge of OSHA and federal/state safety regulations
• Experience with accident prevention plans and hazard analysis

Responsibilities

• Monitor site safety through daily walkthroughs and random assessments
• Prepare Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) for each work feature
• Maintain HSE reports, permits, checklists, and chemical inventory
• Investigate and document accidents and near misses
• Conduct safety induction training and monitor work permit system
