💼 About This Role

You'll join Arcadia Science to study protein evolution across the tree of life, developing novel computational approaches that integrate sequence, structure, and function data. Your work will directly impact target selection and tool development for therapeutics R&D, published openly.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Produce and analyze workflows to interrogate protein information across non-model clades
• Identify data gaps and develop strategies to capture protein variation across scales
• Develop approaches to infer evolutionary shifts in protein composition, structure, and function
• Conceptualize and prototype novel computational tools for target selection

📋 Requirements

• Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, or related field
• 1+ year of full-time relevant scientific experience post-PhD
• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing protein features across evolutionary scales
• Inference of evolutionary processes expertise

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with protein structural inference or protein language models
• Experience with data analysis using Python or R
