💼 About This Role

You'll join the Safety and Loss Prevention team at Elk Valley Resources, operating steelmaking coal mines in British Columbia. You'll support health, safety, and site security programs, conducting risk assessments and training. This role offers a 4x4 rotating shift schedule in the breathtaking Elk Valley with outdoor adventures at your doorstep.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Participate in health and safety programs and policies
• Support risk assessments, gap analyses, and effectiveness reviews
• Assist in contractor risk management and safe work plans
• Perform industrial hygiene monitoring and site access control
• Facilitate training for health and safety initiatives

📋 Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Work Safe BC Advanced First Aid (OFA III) or EMP Level III certification
• Two years of relevant industry experience in Health and Safety
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
