💼 About This Role

You'll join the Systems/Performance Verification team at Etched, building custom IPs for the world's first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers. Your work will directly impact performance tuning and correlation across the full hardware-software stack. You'll collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and SW/FW teams to ensure silicon-ready robustness.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Verify performance features and correlate with pre-silicon and post-silicon models.
• Develop test plans and infrastructure for performance tuning and verification.
• Build and maintain architectural performance models.
• Debug performance issues and conduct tuning on silicon.

📋 Requirements

• Strong understanding of digital design, RTL, and ASIC design flows.
• Hands-on experience with performance verification, simulation, and modeling.
• Comfortable developing checkers and testbenches in SystemVerilog.
• Skilled in writing Python scripts for automation and data analysis.

• Experience building and maintaining performance models for chip subsystems.
• Understanding of memory hierarchies, pipelines, interconnects, and compute accelerators.
• Familiarity with performance bottleneck analysis and compiler optimizations.
