You will lead the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects for Oscar's foundational cloud platform, working with a modern stack including AWS/GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Your work will empower engineering teams to move fast while maintaining security and stability, directly improving the healthcare experience for members.

Requirements

• 6+ years professional software engineering experience with increasing impact
• Experience as major contributor to cross-team deliverables
• Expertise in writing stable, correct, and maintainable code
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams
• Mentor engineers and drive technical roadmap prioritization
• Design and build resilient systems, reduce failure domains
• Guide development of Service-Level Objectives (SLOs)
• Own medium to large infrastructure projects from design through completion
