💼 About This Role

You'll join the Advanced Apps team at Okta to build and maintain connectors for SaaS applications like Workday, Salesforce, GCP, and AWS. Your work will directly impact identity lifecycle management and scalable automation for enterprises. This role offers the chance to lead major development projects and mentor junior engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement connector features with unit tests
• Conduct code reviews and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot customer issues using logs and debugging tools
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years experience in Java development
• 5+ years building services, tools, and frameworks
• 2+ years automating and deploying production services on AWS or GCP
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with server-side caching, async processing, and multi-threading
• Knowledge of Identity protocols: OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM
• Experience with UI development or JavaScript frameworks
