Description

You will perform detailed thermal analysis of airframes and aircraft systems, develop thermal management solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal designs. Your work will directly support the development of Archer's all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.

Requirements

• MS/PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years experience in thermal analysis and design in aerospace or automotive
• Strong understanding of heat transfer fundamentals
• Experience with CFD and FEA software (StarCCM+, Ansys, etc.)
• Familiarity with Python programming

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed thermal analysis of airframe and aircraft systems
• Develop and implement thermal management solutions for composite structures and LRUs
• Design and optimize cooling solutions for aircraft systems
• Perform parametric studies and sensitivity analyses to optimize thermal design
• Develop and use advanced CFD and FEA models to simulate thermal scenarios
