Description

You will lead the Mechanical Ground Systems team at Isar Aerospace, building infrastructure for rocket testing and launches. You'll balance technical and management responsibilities, coordinate with project managers, and ensure mechanical systems are delivered on time.

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience in team management
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Advanced knowledge of project management in mechanical engineering or process facilities
• In-depth knowledge of structural/mechanical engineering for heavy steel structures

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a team of mechanical and aerospace engineers
• Coordinate with project managers to allocate team members and ensure timely delivery
• Lead design, development, and realization of mechanical (sub)systems including requirements management and design reviews
• Serve as technical point of contact for external stakeholders, perform trade-off analyses and on-site coordination
• Conduct performance reviews and develop team members according to strengths and company needs
