💼 About This Role

You'll build the backend systems that power Evertune's AI discovery platform for marketers. You'll own key backend services and APIs in Python, designing scalable systems that support AI-native workflows. This role offers you the chance to shape the engineering organization as an early team member at a well-funded startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and build key backend systems for Evertune's product experience
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Python
• Integrate and test third-party APIs including LLM providers
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across backend services and production systems

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production software with backend depth
• Experience building scalable backend systems in Python
• System design, data modeling, testing, debugging, and performance optimization fundamentals
• Located in Seattle area and able to work in-office 2-3x/week

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building analytics products or data-heavy applications
• Experience integrating LLM or generative AI systems in production
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
