Description

You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a diverse range of equipment critical to Starship production, including automotive assets, heavy transit vehicles, heavy industrial lifting equipment, diesel engines, self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs), cranes, small engines, and various industrial machinery to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 8+ years of maintenance technician experience
• 8+ years of experience with diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and/or electrical repair
• Experience operating a forklift and other related inventory equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and drawings

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all fleet assets to ensure proper operating condition
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on complex automation systems for transport systems
• Troubleshoot and repair control electrical system failures (PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems (actuators, valves, pumps, filters)
• Troubleshoot and repair automated tool mechanical systems (ballscrews, linear rails, gearboxes)
