You'll develop polymeric materials for Starlink satellite products, collaborating with design engineers to ensure cost-effective and reliable consumer electronics. You'll lead scale-up from prototype to production and solve complex processing challenges.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Develop, test, and evaluate polymeric materials for Starlink products.
  • Support polymer selection and implementation with design engineers.
  • Solve complex material and processing challenges across product generations.
  • Lead scale-up from prototype to production of injection molded parts.
  • Perform root cause failure investigations as subject matter expert.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science or an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience with characterizing and testing thermoplastics, elastomers, or adhesives.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • ITAR compliance: U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or PhD in materials science or polymer engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience, preferably in consumer electronics.
  • Knowledge of polymer characterization techniques like SEM-EDS, FTIR, DSC, TGA.
